("The dull world of
commerce." John James Audubon)
GUARANTEE AND
RETURNS: We
guarantee our prints and your satisfaction. If the prints are damaged in
any way, or if for any reason you wish to return them, simply return them in
the original packaging material within 14 days of their delivery to you. We
will refund the entire purchase price, excluding shipping.
PURCHASING: You
may purchase our prints right here from this
website, by phone at 908 510-1621, through the New York Times at
http://www.nytstore.com/Audubon_Prints , The New-York
Historical Society on Central Park West, The Audubon House & Gallery in Key
West, FL (just steps from the cruise ship docks), The Taylor Clark Gallery
in Baton Rouge, LA, and in other fine galleries.
CONSIGNMENT: We
are happy to sell any Audubon original on consignment. Please call or email us for more information.
SECURITY: Credit cards are securely processed
through Trustcommerce, or PayPal when you select the Paypal option during
checkout. We are also happy to receive your phone orders
(908 510-1621) or mail
orders. You may also write out a check. Audubon, himself a prolific
writer, would have wanted it that way.
PRIVACY: We
respect your privacy and personal information. We do not give out
your contact information to anyone. The only time you may receive a
phone call from us is if we have a question about your order. Our
shopping cart asks for your phone number as we give it to the FedEx driver
in case he has trouble finding you. We collect your email address so that
FedEx can send you the tracking number.
FRAMING: We sell our prints unframed.
Most folks bring their prints to their local framer, although we can arrange
to have them framed for you. You may also purchase the prints through The
New York Times online store, and choose their framing option. We suggest you
tell your framer to frame according to archival or conservation standards,
and that you bring along a photo of where the frame will hang, as this will
assist them in choosing a frame that complements the print and also fits in
with your home scheme. Click Resources above for some fine information
relative to framing.
SHIPPING: We ship through FedEx
domestically and USPS International First Class. We
generally ship our unframed prints the day following your order, so you can
expect to receive your order within one week. If you provide an email
address, we will have FedEx send you the tracking number. We ship our
unframed prints rolled in a very strong art mailing tube. This is the safest way
to ship fine art. However, we will ship prints flat upon the customer's
request. Simply let us know your wish in the message box at checkout.
Shipping expense is calculated at
checkout. If we have your email address, we will send you the tracking
number. Dometic shipping is generally $16.
At times we have a free shipping promotion. International shipping
is at cost and is added to your charge card at the time of shipping.
Please email us if you would like to determine the exact cost prior to
shipping. All customs and other such import fees are paid by the
purchaser.
