Princeton Audubon has produced the world's only direct-camera double elephant re-creations of John James Audubon's remarkable work - The Birds of America.  Audubon collector and author Bill Steiner calls Princeton direct-camera prints “Simply the finest Audubon facsimiles ever made.  Princeton direct-camera lithographs are not photographs, but are fine art prints on very heavy archival paper.  Direct-camera refers to the capture of the image prior to transfer to printing plates.  We sell these limited edition prints right here from this website, and also through the New York Times, the Key West Audubon Gallery, the Taylor Clark Audubon Gallery, and many other museums and institutions, such as The New-York Historical Society.  See our prints in the New York Times

GUARANTEE AND RETURNS:  We guarantee our prints and your satisfaction.  If the prints are damaged in any way, or if for any reason you wish to return them, simply return them in the original packaging material within 14 days of their delivery to you.  We will refund the entire purchase price, excluding shipping.

When you order a princeton, you are ordering the absolute best in audubon fine art.  princetons ship from our north new jersey office.  by default, we ship princetons rolled in a heavy art mailer, as this is the safest way to ship such prints.  But we will ship flat upon request of customer.  enter your request at checkout.

SECURITY: Our cards are processed by TrustCommerce.  We are also happy to receive your phone calls or mail orders.  You may also write out a check.  Audubon, himself a prolific writer, would have wanted it that way.

PRIVACY: We respect your privacy and personal information.  We do not give out your contact information to anyone.  The only time you may receive a phone call from us is if we have a question on your order.   We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex and also payments through PayPal

 

FRAMING: We sell our prints unframed.  Most folks bring their prints to their local framer.  We suggest you tell them to frame according to archival or conservation standards.

SHIPPING: We generally ship our unframed prints the day following your order, so you can expect to receive your order within one week.  If you provide an email address, we will have FedEx send you the tracking number.  We often ship our unframed prints rolled in a very strong art mailer.  This is the safest way to ship fine art.  However, we will ship prints flat upon the customer's request. Simply let us know your wish in the message box at checkout.

Shipping expense is calculated at checkout.  If we have your email address, we will send you the tracking number. Dometic shipping is generally $16.
Please note: The shopping cart will prompt you to enter your state for sales tax purposes.  However, only New Jersey residents will be charged their standard 7% sales tax.  Currently, we do not have to collect sales taxes for other states.  But you will still need to enter a state in the box provided.
