Amsterdam Flamingo, excellent condition.  $3,000.  Call 937-219-9090.

I have five Audubon prints for sale they are R. Havell Amsterdam Edition prints. They all have the watermark G Schut and Zonen with e in a circle with the audobon all running along the edge watermarked.

These prints where purchased on the early 1970's from a gallery and have been in storage since.

I believe they are in good condition. They have been stored rolled and I am planning to take them to a gallery to get an appraisal for insurance purposes.

Here is the list and description:

Baltimore Oriole  no. 3   plate Xll

Yellow billed Magpie, Stellar Jay, Ultramarine Jay, Clarks Crow (all together)  no. 73  plate CCCLXll

Blue Grosbeak   no. 25 plate CXXll

Great Horned Owl  no.13  plate LXl

Columbia Jay  Male 1 male 2  no. 20  plate XCVl

These are all the full size prints and are in good condition. The Great Horned Owl does have some bends in the paper at the edges.

If you have an interest in one or all please call me and I will be happy to discuss them in more detail.

From my research I have identified these as the Amsterdam Edition prints due to the watermark and size.

The following plates from the desirable 1971-72 Amsterdam Edition of The Birds of America are offered for sale at very attractive prices.  Each plate has been kept in archival storage, is guaranteed to be in excellent condition and bears the identifying watermark of the Amsterdam edition.  Whether you buy a less expensive Amsterdam print or a higher-end Amsterdam print, the quality is impressive.  These were manufactured to the highest standards of their time and were expensive when issued.  They are distinguished by being the first full-size (39.5” x 26.5”) replicas ever made of the original 1827-1838 Havell edition and were limited to only 250 sets.  These prints are stunning when framed for your home or vacation home, office or business.  I have other Amsterdam plates available in addition to those shown below.  Please ask for your favorite before you pay more elsewhere!
