AMSTERDAM  EDITION  PRINTS  FOR  SALE

Due to their historical significance, Amsterdam prints have proven to be a fine investment for print collectors.  The Amsterdam Edition is the first complete series of Audubon/Havell originals produced since Audubon's day.  Only 250 prints for each Plate were said to be printed.  Originally averaging $12.50 each, many Amsterdam images now sell for thousands in the secondary market. 

Here is your chance to own an actual Amsterdam.  The highly desirable and collectible Audubon images you see below all carry the "G. Schut  & Zonen Audubon" watermark along the long edge, and are approximately 39 1/2" x 26 1/2" in size.

Prints shown below are in mint to very good condition.  Please see condition report below.

Condition Report:  All prints on this page are in mint to very good condition with no fading or foxing.  Colors are sharp and in register. Hermit Thrush and Snow Bird have very small and unobtrusive dents in various areas of print.  These are light handling creases common to double elephant prints and do not affect the value. Rough-legged Falcon has two slightly visible ridges extending upward in lines from the bottom of the paper toward the center of the print. These imperfections likely were in the paper at the time of printing and are not considered damage, nor does it affect the image. Smew or White Nun has two one inch erasure marks, one of which is visible in the enlarged image positioned just under the left wing of the bird in flight.  These can easily be repaired if desired.
